The Science in the Art of fashion

Many times when we hear the word FASHION we focus our perception on it's artistry side. We usually forget the scientific effect it has on our psyche.

Science is the the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.

On the other hand art is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination

The psychological effect of fashion on the mind is very powerful. Fashion have a voice with different languages.

A professional fashion designer or fashionista usually know what effect their work have on the peche of their niche.

The psychology behind their work cannot be overemphasized. You know we usually see a fashion desion and say wow this is beautiful but do you know your expression is a predicted manifestation of the initial plan it was made to produce.

When a lady attends an african gala event and she is dressed in a wedding dress the effects it has on the pyche of the those around is 'are you sure this lady was given an invitation?'.

The effect colors have on the eyes is also expressive inside-out, let's imagine a man with a blue 3 piece suite to a funeral, although the cloth may be amazing yet create an absurd effect on your mind.

Fashion is both science and art, I call it scientific artistry. The technological and pyshological aspect of it makes it science ie the equipments used to design it and also the pcyhological effect on the buyer or wearer while the artistic aspect is the makeup of the clothing which are the designs and materials used in making the cloth.
